These guides cover the legacy VOXO Mobile app. If you’re installing the mobile app for the first time, use the VOXO Connect app instead — see Connect mobile app. Menus differ between the two apps.
Open Settings
Tap Settings in the app to open the settings menu.
Account Settings
To manage push notifications for incoming calls, tap Incoming Calls in the settings menu.In the mobile app, Incoming Calls sits directly in Settings, not inside the Preferences submenu described below. In the OMNIA desktop and web softphone, the same toggle is under Settings → Preferences.

Most settings on this page are in Preferences. From the settings menu, tap Preferences.
Sound Preferences
Ringtone
In Preferences, tap Ringtone and select a ringtone.
Call Recording
In Preferences, tap Call Recording. The options are:- Record All Calls: automatically records all SIP phone calls (calls made through the app).
- Split Participant Channels: records each participant on a separate track.
- Recording Format: the file format for recordings (default is WAV µ-law 8 kHz).
- Automatically Delete Recordings: how long to keep recordings before they’re deleted automatically (default is “Never”).
- Warning Beep: beeps every 15 seconds to let the other party know the call is being recorded.
- E-mail Address: pre-fills the email address used when you share recordings by email.
- Upload URL: a URL the app uploads call recordings to.
- Recording Storage: Internal saves recordings in the app’s internal storage; External saves them to the phone’s memory.
Sound
In Preferences, tap Sound.- System Audio Processing: switches between your device’s built-in audio processing and the app’s own.
- Other sound settings: Incoming Noise Suppression, Playback Boost, Microphone Level, Keypad Volume, Speaker on Display Down, Automatic Enabling Speaker in Video Call, and Advanced Sound Settings.
Preferences/Number Rewriting
Number Rewriting controls how phone numbers are displayed and managed. In Preferences, tap Number Rewriting. Its settings are Plus Replacement, Local to International Number Mapping, and Dial-Out Account Override.
Preferences/Network
In Preferences, tap Network.- SSIDs: choose which Wi-Fi networks (by name) the app may or may not use.
- Network Priorities for RTP: whether call audio (RTP) prefers Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Network Change Strategy: what the app does when your network changes during a call.
- Other network settings: Keep Cellular Network Active and Prevent Wi-Fi from Sleeping.
Preferences/Other
Call Forwarding
To set up call forwarding rules, tap Call Forwarding in Preferences.
Contact Sort Order
To choose how contacts are sorted (for example, by first or last name), tap Contact Sort Order in Preferences.
Other
In Preferences, tap Other. Turn on Proximity Sensor to lock and unlock the screen with your phone’s proximity sensor during calls.
Controls
In Preferences, tap Controls. The GSM Call Settings (for regular mobile carrier calls) are Music on Hold, Notifications, GSM Button, Contacts, and Call Integration.
Do Not Disturb (DND)
To create a DND rule:- In Preferences, tap Do Not Disturb.
- Tap the plus (+) button.
- Turn on the Enabled switch.
- Under Time, set the time interval for the rule.
- Choose the weekdays the rule applies to.
- Choose whether the rule applies to calls from unknown contacts.
- Add any specific contacts the rule should apply to.
- Optionally, add a comment.
- Tap Add at the top right to save the rule.
Additional Preferences
- Troubleshooting Log: turns logging of network traffic and other troubleshooting information on or off.
- Language: the app’s language (default is “Auto: English (United States)”).
- Start Video Automatically: starts video automatically when turned on.
- DNS Lookup: forces a new DNS lookup every time your network changes.
Information
- About: information about the app.
- Usage: your usage statistics.
- Logs: log details.
- Share with Friends: share the app with friends.
Provisioning
To reset the app to its default settings, tap Reset Application in the Settings menu.
