Read, send, and manage text messages in the VOXO Mobile app.
These guides cover the legacy VOXO Mobile app. If you’re installing the mobile app for the first time, use the VOXO Connect app instead — see Connect mobile app. Menus differ between the two apps.

Managing Messages

Tap the message button on the main screen to see your recent messages. Tap a message to open it. To start a new one, see Steps to Send a Message.

Messaging Options Menu

The messaging options menu has:
  • New Message: start a new message.
  • Mark All as Read: mark every message as read.
  • Clear Message History: delete your message history.
  • Edit Mode: select multiple messages to delete or manage at once.
  • Settings: open the app’s settings.

Steps to Send a Message

  1. Tap the message button on the main screen.
  2. Tap Add ”+” at the bottom right.
  3. Choose VOXO Contacts or Address Book.
  4. Scroll or search for the contacts you want to message, and select them.
  5. Type your message in the text box at the bottom and tap send.

Adding Options for Messaging

Open a message thread, then tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner:
  • People & Options: view and manage settings for the conversation.
  • Delete: delete the message thread.
  • Call: call the contact from the message thread.

Customizing Message Settings

The People & Options menu has two sections:
  • General Settings: use your global notification settings for this conversation, or customize them.
  • People in This Conversation: everyone in the conversation, including all members of a group message.
