  • Enable password prompt for retrieving voicemails: Require a password to retrieve voicemails.
  • Enable same ring for internal and external calling: Use the same ring tone for internal and external calls.
  • Maximum incoming rings: The maximum number of rings. This is the account default; you can also change it per Extension.
  • Parking lot timeout: How long, in seconds, a parked call stays in a park slot before ringing back to the user who parked it. For example, set this to 600 to give your team 10 minutes to retrieve the call before it returns. Increase this value if parked calls are ringing back before staff can pick them up.
  • Call waiting: The call waiting option. This is the account default; you can also change it per extension.
  • Parking lot count: The number of parking lots.

Integrations

Salesforce

You can turn on and edit the Salesforce integration after the account is created. On the Integrations tab of the Edit Account screen:

  • CTI Task Generation: When to generate tasks:
    • Always: A task for every call.
    • Never: No tasks.
    • User: Users choose whether to generate a task for each call.
These settings apply only while the Salesforce integration is on.

Call Outcomes

When Call Outcomes are on, users who hang up a call in the Omnia softphone are asked to pick an outcome from the options set on the account. Omnia reports can then use those outcomes to analyze call results.
  • Enable Call Outcomes: Click the VOXO icon to turn Call Outcomes on or off.
  • Specify Call Outcomes:
    • Select existing outcomes from the dropdown menu.
    • To add an outcome, type its description in the field and select it.
    • To remove an outcome, click the x next to it.

Webhooks

Webhooks let Omnia send real-time data to another application whenever specific events happen, like a call ending or a new voicemail. To add a webhook:
  1. Select the webhook Type:
    • CALLRECORDING
    • ENDCALL
    • NEWVOICEMAIL
    • SALESFORCECRM
    • STARTCALL
  2. Enter the webhook URL.

  • Live Transcription Service
For custom products:
  • Product: Select a product, such as Managed Services or Internet.
  • Price: Enter the price.

  • Description: Enter a description for the custom product.
Click Add a product to add more custom products. Check Verify product pricing to confirm all product pricing is accurate before you save.

Conduits

Conduits let extensions dial extensions in other accounts by entering a prefix and the extension number. Users across those accounts can dial each other extension-to-extension as if they were all in the same account.
  1. Go to the Conduits tab.
  2. Enter the Conduit Prefix. Conduits only work when dialing 6 digits or less.
  3. In the Available list, search for and select the conduits to assign. Only accounts with conduit prefixes are listed.
  4. Use the arrow buttons to move them to the Assigned list.

Save and Update

After making all your edits, click Save, then click Update to confirm. A message confirms the account was updated.
