Yealink releases firmware updates to add features and fix bugs. You can apply an update from the phone’s built-in web interface, which you reach through the phone’s IP address on your network.
Before you begin
- Download the latest firmware for your model from the Yealink support site and unzip it to a local folder.
- Make sure your computer is on the same network as the phone.
Apply the update
Find the phone's IP address
Press the OK button on the phone’s keypad to display its IPv4 address.
Open the web interface
In a web browser, enter the phone’s IP address in the address bar and press Enter.
Enter the username and password. Both are admin by default.
Choose the firmware file
Go to Settings > Upgrade, click Browse, and select the firmware file you downloaded.
Start the upgrade
Click Upgrade, then confirm to continue. The update takes about 5 minutes.
Do not unplug or power cycle the phone while the firmware is upgrading. Interrupting the update can leave the phone unusable.
