VOXO Pharmacy connects to your pharmacy management system (PMS) to power prescription lookups, refill processing, caller identification, and the AI agent’s patient conversations. Exactly which capabilities are available depends on which PMS your pharmacy uses. This page brings together the PMS-specific notes scattered across the other pharmacy docs into one comparison.
This page covers PioneerRx, Liberty RX, and BestRx — VOXO’s three most common PMS integrations. If your pharmacy connects through QS1 or a generic Location setup, see the Supported systems table on the PMS Tools page for what’s available to you.

PMS tools

See PMS Tools for full instructions on each of these.
Outbound faxing here refers to the PMS-integration capability listed in Supported systems. Sending and receiving faxes from the Faxes page works the same way regardless of which PMS you use.

Agent — patient lookup

See Agent for full configuration details.

Agent — refill handling

See Refill Config for the full settings list.
Reassigned-prescription handling and default receiving-option preferences also depend on your connected PMS. See Refill Config for what’s configurable on your system.

IVR

See IVR for menu configuration.
The IVR Calls tab is available for PioneerRx, Liberty RX, and BestRx locations. Pharmacies on a generic Location setup (no named PMS) don’t get this tab.

Outbound campaigns

See Call campaigns for campaign setup.
Opted-out patients are skipped automatically on pickup/refill-ready uploads regardless of which PMS the upload comes from — this isn’t PMS-specific.
If a capability above is marked “not documented,” it means the pharmacy docs don’t describe that behavior for that PMS — check with your VOXO administrator if you’re not sure what your location supports.
