# Fax

> Send and receive faxes from VOXO Connect without a physical fax machine.

VOXO Connect lets you send faxes directly from the app. You don't need a physical fax machine or a separate fax service.

## Sending a fax

1. Click the fax/printer icon at the top of the left sidebar.
2. In the dialog that opens, enter the recipient's fax number.
3. Upload the PDF you want to fax. Only PDF files are supported.
4. Click **Send**.

## Checking fax status

After sending, you can track the status of your fax:

1. Go to **Activity** in the left sidebar.
2. Click the **Faxes** tab.

Each fax shows one of the following statuses:

* **Sent** — the fax was delivered successfully.
* **Received** — an incoming fax was received.
* **Failed** — the fax was not delivered.

  If a fax fails, try resending it or verify that you entered the correct fax number for the recipient.

## Receiving faxes

Incoming faxes appear automatically in **Activity → Faxes**. Click a received fax to view or download it.
